Autumn, Can You Hurry Up Please?

Hello Autumn, I know you’re just around the corner, I mean I don’t know what corner, but I know you’re on your way here… I can feel it! This has been one of the hottest summers we have had in the UK and as much as I have loved the sunshine, I’m definitely ready to say a massive goodbye. A BIG SEE YA! Seriously, autumn, can you hurry up?

With the sunshine aside, let’s just remind ourselves of the best time of the year slowly approaching. It is all about cosy late night evenings, lots and lots of hot chocolate, pumpkin picking and Halloween. Yessss!!! I am very excited to dive into my wardrobe and pull out all my old autumn favourites. Autumn is my favourite time of the year which is why I am looking forward to digging out my comfy sweats and all the dark coloured clothing.

So let’s talk about this outfit… Firstly, I just want to say that I am loving > this < skirt from Jack Wills (obvs) and I have been wearing it non-stop. It is a well-fitted mini skirt that reminds me of the 60’s. I am completely obsessed with the zip-up feature, at the front, as it is very different from anything I have worn before. I think you could dress this up or dress it down depending on the occasion and the weather. I have decided to pair this up with > this < beautiful burgundy knitted sweatshirt. The one I am wearing is last years, however, I have found another version of it on the New Look website.

This is definitely one of my favourite in-betweeny outfits, perfect for those days where you are unsure of what the weather is doing. I really enjoyed wearing this outfit today as I was able to wear my autumnal knitted sweatshirt which I haven’t been able to for a while. I think this is a cute comfy look that can be easily created by anyone. For the slightly colder days, I would suggest wearing tights and boots as this would complete the perfect autumnal look. I have so many things that I want to do this autumn, so make sure you are checking out my blog and social media to find out what I am up to.

Are you ready for autumn? What’s your go-to in-betweeny outfit?
