IT’S BLOGMAS DAY 5!!! For today’s post, I have decided to do something rather quite chilled. I realised that a some of my posts recently have been a lot of reading and quite in detail too. So, today is more or a short question and answer. I found this challenge online called This or That: Christmas Edition, so I thought it would be perfect. I am looking forward to it completing this challenge, as it is a great way for you to get to know me and you too can also answer these questions as you read them. Right, that’s enough talking… let’s get straight into it!
Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?
Definitely Christmas Day, 100% without a doubt. I just love celebrating Christmas with my family and I am very grateful for the family that I have. Christmas is probably the only time I get to see all of my family on the same day and what a magical day it always is. I am very much looking forward to Christmas this year as I haven’t seen my family in a very long time… or at least it feels like that.
Real trees or Fake trees?
To me, a tree is a tree. Whether if it’s real or fake, I personally don’t think it matters. At home, we have always used fake trees. I think fake tress are amazing because you just have to buy one and you can use them over and over every year. I haven’t had the opportunity to actually see a real tree or at least I don’t think I have. I would definitely say that a fake tree is my preference.
Tree ornaments or Tree lights?
Tree lights are just amazing!!! I don’t have a Christmas tree in my flat at the moment, but I have purchased some tree/fairy lights to make my room Christmassy. I suppose it depends on the ornaments, but I do just love Christmas lights.
Going Christmas carolling or Watching Christmas movies?
If I was a child again, I would probably say going Christmas carolling. However, I don’t think I have the confidence to do that now, as I am older. I think I would choose a Christmas movie evening instead with lots of snacks and hot drinks.
Indoor decorations or Outdoor decorations?
OUTDOOR DECORATIONS!! Christmas time is such a lovely atmosphere, especially being able to look at all the lovely Christmas lights that houses and towns display. I just think they are so mesmerising and are perfect for getting me in the Christmas spirit.
Santa or the Elves?
Eating the Christmas cookies or Leaving them for Santa?
I would probably eat some of the cookie and then feel bad, so I would leave Santa the other half of the cookie LOL.
Putting presents in front of the tree days in advance or Waiting until late Christmas Eve?
I never put presents underneath the Christmas tree prior to Christmas day. This is due to the fact that I am normally still wrapping up Christmas presents on Christmas Eve. I normally leave all my Christmas present wrapping right until the last moment. I know it’s bad, but I am normally so busy with working and also doing assignments for university.
A white Christmas or A green Christmas?
I have never experienced a white Christmas. I am going to be completely honest, I have been praying that this year, we finally get a white Christmas. I think it would just top Christmas and make it so special and remembering. I also associate white Christmases’ as being magical and dreamy. It would definitely be a special Christmas if this year we get snow. I would wake up as a very happy bunny.
Going to church or volunteering at a soup kitchen?
I would volunteer at a soup kitchen. I have been to church multiple times, but I have never volunteered at a soup kitchen before, so I would definitely choose that.
Spending the holiday with your immediate family or your extended family?
EVERYONE! I just love seeing all my friends and family at Christmas time as it is always so lovely and everyone is always so positive as they are in the Christmas spirit.
Eggnog or Hot Chocolate?
Giving or receiving?
I absolutely love giving presents, so it is obvious that my answer is that. I just love going shopping and buying people presents. I think it’s a lot of fun and it’s nice buying for others. I also enjoy seeing their reactions when they open their presents.
That’s all for today’s post. If you are a blogger and you want to try this little tag, then please do. Don’t forget to tag me in your posts, so I can read it.
