As it’s Valentine’s day tomorrow, I have decided to write a post based on that.
Whether if you’re celebrating Valentine’s, Galentine’s, or even Palentine’s day this year – I have got some perfect ideas of how you can spend a lovely day with your friends, family, well anyone at all really.
I’ve never really been the one to do something VERY EXTRA on Valentine’s day, and I don’t necessarily believe that you have to celebrate it. I do, however, believe that it is a nice day to celebrate, considering most people are, whether if that is with your best friend, family or partner. I think it is good to have a designated day to actually make plans, spend time with someone and have a lovely time. Here are some of my TOP things to do on Valentine’s day, and remember these are ideal for families, friends and partners.
Take A Trip
Going away for Valentine’s is definitely a popular thing to do to celebrate your love for another. I have seen many couples going away for a few days, especially on social media. I think that is definitely something nice to do together, as you are able to create new memories and it’s something you will remember for a long time.
Go For A Walk
I love going for a walk. It doesn’t even have to just be on valentines, but just generally. I enjoy going for a walk with Kevin, especially so we can spend time talking together, exploring and just seeing where the road takes us.
Do Some Kind Of Activity
You could do something such as bowling, wine and/or food tasting, cinema, do an escape room, watch a game, play a game (monopoly), go ice-skating, or even just to go exploring. I think that you can do any activity that you are both interested in. You should do something that maybe, you either LOVE or something that you have never done before. It’s always a good idea to try things for the very first time!
Go Out For Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner
This is something that I have done a few times with Kevin. We normally go out for dinner. I really like doing this as it is a lovely way to spend time together, talk about your day and enjoy a lovely meal that has been cooked for the both of you. Last year, Kevin and I went to Wetherspoons as they had a special deal on which was £20 for both of you. This included 2 main meals and 2 desserts, along with a bottle of wine or an alternative drink. Similar to this, you could cook dinner together (from scratch), perhaps a pizza or something that would be a lot of fun. I love making pizzas, along with baking cakes. I think that would be a pretty fun and an amazing thing to do… Perhaps I’ll do that this year LOL.
Recreate Your First Date
I can’t really remember mine and Kevin’s first date, but I think that this would be such a lovely thing to do together.
Enjoy A Movie Night In With LOTS Of Snacks
MY FAVOURITE THING TO DO!!!!!!!
If I have time, I will write a post or share with you on Instagram what I got up to on Valentine’s day. All I know, for now, is that we are going for a lovely meal out at somewhere we have never been before. I am very much looking forward to it.
What do you have planned for valentine’s day?
Love this post! Great ways!

Breakfast together is nice. Friday night we went to a planetarium show called “Romance Under the Stars.” They took us to the moon, to Saturn, and on a tour of the night sky – all projected on the ceiling : ) Rebecca
