My Autumn Everyday Make-Up Routine.

So, here it is… The post you have all been waiting for! As it’s officially AUTUMN today, I have decided to share with you my go-to autumn make-up routine. It is a very simplistic make-up routine that can be interpreted by anyone. I have used drugstore makeup products as well as products from The Body Shop. These are all at a reasonable price and are all vegan. It is very important for me to use only products that are vegan… I am 100% against animal testing. So without further ado… let’s move on!

I wanted to create a fresh-glowy look that is plain, yet suitable for autumn. I am not great at makeup so I have put this together for anyone who is just like me. I have used only basic techniques for the coverage of my face and I have used a medium/dark eyeshadow which compliments the lipstick. To see how easy I created this look, you should check out the YouTube video I have linked at the bottom of the page.

What make-up products did I use?

  1. Moisturiser
  2. Foundation
  3. Concealer
  4. Powder
  5. Contour Pallett
  6. Eye Shadow
  7. Highlighter
  8. Eye Brow Pencil
  9. Eye Liner
  10. Mascara
  11. Lipstick
  12. Disney Make-Up Bag
  13. Make-Up Sponges
  14. Make-Up Brushes

As you have probably guessed or know already from reading all my blog posts, you will know that I love autumn. It is my favourite time of the year meaning that I will definitely be wearing this look a lot and I am sure you will see it all over my Instagram. I absolutely love it! I took me on average 15 minutes to do which is so do-able for an everyday makeup look.

Please let me know what you thought of this look and tag me in your autumn make-up routines, I can’t wait to see yours!

Thank you all so much for popping back onto my blog. I hope you have a great week ahead of you and enjoy every minute! Also, stay active to see all my planned autumnal posts that I can’t wait to share with you.

My Spring Everyday Make-Up Routine.

YouTube Link:

WOW! I actually can’t believe I am doing one of these posts. It is something that I have wanted to share with you for some time now. It has been a highly requested blog post idea for a while now and I had no idea how to share it with you. I was very nervous to film my everyday make-up routine on my own as I was not used to it. I used to make YouTube with my best friend for 4 years, so this was a big jump. I thoroughly enjoyed filming this video, even if I did cut loads out LOL! For some reason on camera, it took me so long to do and I forgot how to do my make-up… oops! I really hope you enjoy the video and found it useful to see the products I use and I use them.

What Make-Up Products Did I Use?

  1. Moisturiser
  2. Foundation
  3. Concealer
  4. Powder
  5. Contour Pallet
  6. Highlighter
  7. Eye Shadow Pallet
  8. Eye Brow Pencil
  9. Eye Liner
  10. Eye Liner
  11. Mascara
  12. Lipstick
  13. Disney Make-Up Bag
  14. Make-Up Sponges
  15. Make-Up Brush Set

This is my go-to everyday make-up routine. It is very easy to do and roughly takes about 10-15 minutes to complete the finish look. This is definitely the look I go for on a daily basis and you can probably see this on my Instagram and Twitter posts. I absolutely love this look because I can wear it literally every day by changing the colour of the lipstick to suit the weather and my clothing. Today, I was wearing spring colours which is why I went for a light pink/nude shade which enhanced the colour of my natural lips anyway. I think this is a super easy make-up tutorial that doesn’t require too many techniques and still looks natural and pretty.

I hope you enjoyed the video to complement the images taken of the finished look. If any of you would like to give this look a try, I would absolutely love to see your recreations. I would feel honoured if you could contact me on my social media pages. I am always here if you would like to have a chat.

A Couple Of Thoughts On Transitional Dressing.

It’s that time of the year when the weather is finding it difficult what season it’s trying to be which makes it hard for us trying to plan our outfits to suit each day. Lately, the weather has been trying to get rid of the summer days by bringing us a lot of random showers and cooler days. I actually prefer the cooler days with a breeze as I’ve started to get a bit fed up of the hot weather. The transition from summer to autumn is my favourite time of year as you can still wear the same clothes, however,  you might just have to add a cardigan or jeans with a summer top or perhaps some tights with a skirt.

I cannot tell you enough how much I love this season as it means I get to wear more of my clothes and layer up with knitwear which I LOVE!!! As you may or may not know, I love wearing stripes, preferably blue and white with something that’s denim. In the summer I often wore my denim dungaree dress, but as we are heading into autumn I thought I would match my striped top with some oversized high waisted ripped denim jeans. If you follow me on Instagram, you will be aware that this is my signature look. I have decided to show a little appreciation to this by dedicating a whole post to my favourite look at the moment. So here goes…

Swanbourne Off Shoulder Top (Jack Wills) £15.00

I purchased this cute little off the shoulder crop top in the sale from Jack Wills. I really like the fit and how it stays in place when you move around. I got this in a size 6 which is why it’s slightly shorter by showing a little bit of my belly, however, I kind of like it like that as it shows off my figure. The stripes on this are soooooo pretty which adds to the cuteness. You can also purchase this in red and white.

High Waisted Denim Ripped Jeans (New Look) £27.99

A pair of highly recommended denim jeans that can be worn all year round. These high waisted jeans are perfect and definitely worth the price advertised. I have had my jeans for a few months now and I just think they are brilliant. You can’t go wrong with a pair of ripped jeans. It spices up your look instead of just having a simple straight down pair of jeans with no texture. These ones are actually cropped with a choppy ripped bottom which is why I have rolled mine up twice. I often do this on my clothes as I think it looks better. It is completely up to you how you’d like to wear yours.

By matching this cute striped crop top with a pair of high waisted ripped skinny jeans you are clearly making your fashion statement of the definite change between the summer and autumn seasons.

I love the transition between the summer and autumn seasons as the weather becomes a perfect temperature. This simple look can be recreated in many ways depending on your fashion styles. However, something similar to these items will be perfect for this time of year, especially with how indecisive the weather is at the moment.

I hope you enjoyed reading this post as much as I enjoyed writing it. What is your favourite fashion look to wear during these seasons?

Behind The Scenes Of A Blogger.

Hmm… I’m starting to think that this post should really be called behind the post  which is a lot like a behind the scenes instead it’s more appropriate for a blogger. Be sure to let me know what you think as I have no idea on what to call it. I’ve been wanting to do a get to know me sort of post for a while now when I came across the idea of doing a post all about my blog by focusing on the stuff that I don’t really talk about in my posts. I have created a perfect little tag post to inform our reader’s the important information about the details of our blog. Please correct me if there is an existing tag like this already created. So, let’s begin…

I have created a short Behind the scenes of a blogger video from my latest post that I published which is A Simple Transition From Summer To Autumn. It took me some time to get ready and take the relevant photos that I wanted to add with the post to give it that extra touch. I left the camera rolling to give you an idea of what it’s like for me to film and take photos of myself… IT’S VERY DIFFICULT!!

This tag has 4 simple requirements:

  1. Thank the person who has tagged you to do this challenge by mentioning them in your post.
  2. Tag up to 10 other people who you think should do this post.
  3. You have to tag this post ‘BehindTheScenesOfABlogger’ so I can read all your posts – #BehindTheScenesOfABlogger
  4. Everyone answers the following 8 questions.

What Inspired you to create a blog and publish blog posts?

I have been greatly inspired by fellow bloggers such as Zoe Sugg and Poppy Deyes who I absolutely adore. I enjoy reading their posts as well as following them on social media and YouTube. It was when I stopped making YouTube videos with my friend when I realised how much I love creating posts and content for people to enjoy for themselves. I love how everyone can make their blog their own and unique just like a diary full of memorable dates with thoughts and feelings which I love to look back on.

How long have you been blogging for?

I have been blogging on this blog/website for 4 months now, since April, with WordPress.

Have you had any other blogging websites?

Yes, I first created a blog using Blogger in June 2017 which only had about 7 posts on. I didn’t have a clue about what I wanted to blog/post about. It was all a bit random and a bit mish-mash. I knew for a while though that blogging is what interested me and I wanted to try it for myself. I slowly began to publish less frequently due to studying at Winchester university which is why by October I had stopped blogging. It was when I was close to finishing my first year in April when I decided that I wanted to start blogging again and this time by really pushing myself to create a website that I love.

I started off by creating a website using as it was recommended to me as one of the best hosts for blogs and photography websites which if you know me sounds absolutely perfect. When my website was up and running on Wix, I received numerous messages about how it was either not loading, crashing and my photographs were very blurry. This really upset me which is why I spent days trying to fix it and do everything I could to make sure everything was working properly. Unfortunately, it only appeared to work and flow properly on my desktop when I was signed in.

My next option which to be honest would have been my last attempt was trying WordPress. WordPress is absolutely incredible. I would never use another website for my blog ever again!!!! WordPress is easy to navigate, creates perfect blogs, you can use it for free and everything runs smoothly; even high-quality photographs and videos. I wish I was introduced to WordPress from last year as I believe that I would have kept it up and running throughout my time at university.

Where do you see yourself and your blog in 5 years time?

I would be very proud of myself if in 5 years time I had graduated from university pursuing my dream job as a Drama Teacher. I see my blog still being up and running with a lot more useful content and regular readers. I would love to make it a more of an educational blog filled with resources to help others pursue their dreams. If a lot more comes out of my blog, then I would be thrilled and over the moon.

What message are you trying to get across within your blog posts?

I think it’s pretty clear to state that every blog post I publish is very different, if not random. I write posts that interest me on that particular day. Some days I could talk forever about fashion or travel or just completely about myself. I like how my posts aren’t predictable as their not always about the same topic. However, I do think it’s important that every post has a start, middle and an end which gives the reader a purpose and understanding for them reading that post.

Do people from school, college, uni or work find your blog?

Yes, some people from university found my blog and others found out about it through social media. I’m not ashamed of blogging, nor am I shy to tell people. If I am very passionate and interested regarding something then I will get that across to my friends and family. The comments I have received so far on my blog and about my blog have been very positive which keeps me motivated and happy to share what I love doing.

What does your username mean?

My username is which is quite straightforward if you know me. Bryoni is my first name and Burns is my second name. I decided to name is Bryoni Burns Blog as it would be the first one up there in the search engine if people were to type my name in and/or search for the blog if they wanted to find it. I couldn’t really think of something interesting or unique which is why I just stuck with my name. I have been thinking about whether or not to change it. Let me know if you have any ideas.

Who are your favourite bloggers?

WOW! This is going to be a long list as I have a lot of bloggers who interest me and inspire me to blog about what I love. I don’t want to list too many so I will narrow it down a little bit. It’s amazing how every blogger is so different in their own little way. It’s great how we can all do the same kind of posts, but yet they are all completely different. I love blogging so much and I love reading all your blog posts. I am sorry that I can’t tag everyone who I love reading.

  1. Zoella
  2. Poppy
  3. Abri
  4. Emma
  5. Lilia
  6. Isla
  7. Geraldine
  8. Fran

Here are my nominations:

  5. Hannah
