I have something amazing to share with you and I think you are all going to love it. I have been getting messages recently from a few of you asking for a make-up routine, more specifically the make-up routine that I am using on a daily basis.

I have decided to create a video, primarily to complement the process so you can see a step-by-step guide of what I am doing. I have also included the Q&A polls from my Instagram and Twitter, so if you asked a question then it will be answered in the video. In addition, I have added in some FUN FACTS, along with a little chat. All of the products I have used can be found in the video itself, plus I will tag them below and they will also be tagged in the description box of the video too.

What products have I used?

  1. Moisturiser
  2. Foundation
  3. Contour set
  4. Eye-brow kit
  5. Setting Spray
  6. Face Mist
  7. Mascara

This is a very easy, simple, and fresh make-up look which I wear a majority of the time. I am not the best at make-up, so this works wonders for me. I prefer having my make-up quite subtle, and this feels amazing on the skin as it isn’t too heavy. This is definitely a look that I will be wearing for many times to come or a look that I will use as a basis for all looks.

Check out the video and let me know what you think in the comments:

Thank you so so much for checking out this blog post and I hope that you enjoyed the little video I have created for you. If you would like me to do any particular blog post/youtube video, please comment them below and I will add it to my list.

Spring Primark Haul 2019 | Disney Collaboration, Travel, and Accessories.

I never thought that I would ever do a Primark Haul on this blog. I figured that since I have been making a lot of purchases recently, it would be lovely to show you all the incredible bargains that I managed to get.

Primark is a very popular retailer, known for its cheap and affordable prices. I absolutely love taking a little visit into Primark as there is always something that catches my eye, whether if it is bright and colourful, very cheap, or even in the sale. I usually make purchases from their travel, homeware section, and occasionally their pyjama section. I have never bought anything from Primark that was not worth the value I paid, so I 100% recommend it.

However, I have a few holidays coming up within the next few months, including Paris, Belfast, Bordeaux, and Barcelona – knowing me though, I will book some more. I have bought a few things to take to each of these destinations. Of course, I couldn’t go to Paris (Disney Land) without taking a few iconic pieces to get me in the mood. I have also got myself some travel essentials, especially if I want to make a habit of it.

Let’s get into it…

Disney Collaboration

I absolutely love it when Primark do their collaborations with other brands, as the items they produce are just so beautiful and I am just tempted to buy everything. I decided to buy a T-shirt dress, night dress, shopper bag, and a make-up bag. I think these are just perfect for the two days that I am going to park for. I can’t wait to get all Disney-up and take some very cute photographs. My favourite piece is definitely the shopper bag. The images of Mickey are just so funny and I think it’s a good laugh. Keep an eye out on my Instagram for some Disney pictures.

  1. Mickey Mouse Long T-Shirt Dress £8.00
  2. Mickey Mouse Night Dress £6.00
  3. Mickey Mouse Shopper Bag £3.00
  4. Mickey Mouse Make-up Bag £5.00

Sorry, not sorry – I just couldn’t resist! A couple of weeks ago, I noticed the travel pillow was in the sale from £4.00 to £2.00 which is just CRAZY!!! I went back to the same Primark about 2 days ago and found the matching eye mask and passport cover. If you know me well, then you’ll know that I love everything to be matching and this is just perfect. For someone who loves travelling and exploring, you’ll be surprised that I don’t actually own any of these and for £6.00 I thought why not. I am looking forward to using these this weekend on my travels to Paris.

  1. Travel Pillow £2.00
  2. Passport Cover £2.00
  3. Travel Eye Mask £2.00

I’d like to think of these as a NEED, but I probably didn’t NEED these at all! I got this belt, purely because it was size XS, and at the moment I use a Medium, except I have pierced my own hole. I realised that for £2.00, I should treat myself to a new one, plus I won’t need one for a while now. Next, I purchased a hairbrush purely for travelling. I thought it would be a really good idea to have one brush that is a perfect size to squeeze into any bag and to only use it when I travel. Lastly, I got a clear travel bag with 5 bottles and 1 pot to put all of my travel liquids in. I thought this was irresistible. I am now able to save A LOT of money on 100ml products to fit through security, as I already have the bottles – I just need to fill them. For only £1.00 this is amazing, especially as I can use all my favourite products and then, I am set to go. As well as that, it comes with stickers so that you can label each bottle of what you have put inside.

  1. Plain Black Belt £2.00
  2. Travel Hairbrush £0.90
  3. Travel Bottle Set £1.00

I worked out that for all of this I paid a total of £31.90 which is amazing, so affordable and have saved me a lot in the long run. I am looking forward to travelling in a few days, and I can’t wait to use my new purchases.

What is one item that you never travel without?

My Spring Everyday Make-Up Routine.

YouTube Link:

WOW! I actually can’t believe I am doing one of these posts. It is something that I have wanted to share with you for some time now. It has been a highly requested blog post idea for a while now and I had no idea how to share it with you. I was very nervous to film my everyday make-up routine on my own as I was not used to it. I used to make YouTube with my best friend for 4 years, so this was a big jump. I thoroughly enjoyed filming this video, even if I did cut loads out LOL! For some reason on camera, it took me so long to do and I forgot how to do my make-up… oops! I really hope you enjoy the video and found it useful to see the products I use and I use them.

What Make-Up Products Did I Use?

  1. Moisturiser
  2. Foundation
  3. Concealer
  4. Powder
  5. Contour Pallet
  6. Highlighter
  7. Eye Shadow Pallet
  8. Eye Brow Pencil
  9. Eye Liner
  10. Eye Liner
  11. Mascara
  12. Lipstick
  13. Disney Make-Up Bag
  14. Make-Up Sponges
  15. Make-Up Brush Set

This is my go-to everyday make-up routine. It is very easy to do and roughly takes about 10-15 minutes to complete the finish look. This is definitely the look I go for on a daily basis and you can probably see this on my Instagram and Twitter posts. I absolutely love this look because I can wear it literally every day by changing the colour of the lipstick to suit the weather and my clothing. Today, I was wearing spring colours which is why I went for a light pink/nude shade which enhanced the colour of my natural lips anyway. I think this is a super easy make-up tutorial that doesn’t require too many techniques and still looks natural and pretty.

I hope you enjoyed the video to complement the images taken of the finished look. If any of you would like to give this look a try, I would absolutely love to see your recreations. I would feel honoured if you could contact me on my social media pages. I am always here if you would like to have a chat.

Cordially Invited Book Review By Zoe Sugg

“A seasonal guide to hosting any occasion and making a memory out of every day” – Zoe Sugg

Thursday, October 4th 2018 was a very special day for Zoe Sugg (Zoella) and her fans as she bought out her own non-fictional book, Cordially Invited. Fortunately for myself, I was able to pre-order a signed copy from WHSmith which I was very pleased about. I have always been interested in Zoe and I think she is very inspirational. Ever since I saw her on YouTube a few years ago and met her in person, I have been a massive fan! When I picked up my copy, I started to give it a read straight away… I mean COME ON… I did have to wait for 4 months LOL. I managed to finish it in one evening. So, I thought it would be a good idea for me to give an honest opinion of what I think of Cordially Invited.

I think that Cordially Invited is a very beautiful and well-structured book which is written in the style of a blog post. It is absolutely stunning and has a very high-quality finish. It is a very casual book and is written like as if you were reading a blog post. I really get that vibe when I read it. I think it is probably because of the font, colour and all the interesting photographs. I think this is the idea she was going for, so that her readers, of all ages, are able to read it. The book consists of introductions to every season, to-do lists, activities, home decor ideas, events and recipes. I absolutely LOVE this!!! It is perfect for YouTubers, Bloggers or even Instagrammers as it gives lots of ideas as to what photos to take and ideas of what to do in the relevant months.

I didn’t really have any ideas as what to expect from this book. However, the layout and the writing style is a bit of a shock as I never expected it. IT’S 100% ZOE! When I was reading it, I even imagined how she would say it. It is so crazy, but it’s true. I am so proud of Zoe and this book as it has been a dream of hers and now that dream has come true, it’s just incredible! I love how honest it is… like it is very relatable to soooooooo many people. Books like these are my favourite to read. It is one of those things where you can bring it out every year to get some inspiration or even to make one of the delicious recipes.

I don’t want to share too much and ruin it for anyone who hasn’t read it yet. So, I am going to stop here. But I do 100% recommend giving it a little read. I am so happy that I purchased this book because it has actually given me so many ideas, not just with my blog, but also hosting little parties with family and friends. I really want to try the ‘Tomato & Ginger Soup With Toasties’ as it just sounds so delicious and very autumnal. My favourite season to read is definitely Autumn as it is very relatable and of course, because it is my favourite season. Although, my favourite page in the book is ‘Christmas’ (page 198) as little Nala is dressed as a gingerbread man. This is just soooooo cute and adorable. I just love it!

Have you read Cordially Invited yet? What do you think?
